Platinum A' Design Award Winner Transforms Wedding Palace with Innovative Lighting Design

The chandelier, which is reminiscent of a bridal veil, is organically incorporated into the cloud-like ceiling of the Great Hall. The design's unique properties lie in its construction module, which resembles a four-leaf flower. Each leaf is composed of five thin copper tubes, with a light unit at the center. The series connection of the leaves creates a flexible and light chandelier, giving the impression of a bride's veil.

Syrnev's design was inspired by the adoration and exaltation humans have always felt towards winged creatures, considered as messengers of the gods. The designer sought to encapsulate the ease, freedom, and happiness that birds symbolize, and transform these elements into a tangible form. The result is a chandelier that not only illuminates the hall but also adds an artistic touch, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the space.

The realization of this design was not without challenges. The work on the project began with the completion of the construction of the Palace. The complex, step-relief ceiling dictated the shape of the future composition. To soften the hard edges of the ceiling elements, Syrnev used vegetable nature, in the form of a flower petal. Thin copper pipes, which form the petals, led to the soft and elastic wave-like folds of fabric.

The chandelier, with its crystal and white enamel leaves, fits seamlessly into the space, flowing smoothly from the front wall to the ceiling. The abundance of light and the golden glow of flying birds create a feeling of spaciousness and joy. This design is not just a lighting fixture; it is an art object that enhances the ambiance of the room and contributes to the overall experience of the visitors.
